Will Our Fleshly Desire Of Sin Nature Leave Us Once We Die Physically?

Does The Increase In The Revelation Of The Cross Make Us Die To Flesh Completely Forever?

Question : I believe I died once for all in Christ but the apostle Paul said I should put to death my members of sin and I also believe that as the revelation of the Cross increases in me, that is when the dying process is active until the Cross consumes all the desires of the flesh in me! Brother, what do you think? Isn't it the process to true deliverance? May the Father reveal to you more in Jesus name. I also add that we have no promise to death, the flesh will be present of course, but not till we die but till we are changed into our promised body of glory !

Answer : Greetings to you in Jesus name! You should understand that the flesh will be present until we die, but the more we choose to lift up our cross of the will of God that God has planned through every circumstances of our life, the more we will be see the resurrection power acting through us and keeping the flesh powerless over us
(Luke 9:23-24). So we need to die by faith daily (1 Cor 15:31), moment by moment and thus we will be overcomers over the flesh (Rom 13:14; Gal 5:16; 1 John 5:4). The Cross slays the old man and the revelation of the Cross will increase as we choose to walk by faith and not by sight.

Once we die, our soul and spirit will go on to be with the Lord, but the flesh and the desires of this present body will decay in the earth from which it has come
(2 Cor 5:8; Rom 7:5; Gen 3:19). Our natural body is subject to death because of sin operating in its make up after the fall of humans through the one sin of our forefather Adam (Rom 8:10; 5:12). As the physical body with its sinful desire is discarded on earth, the sin nature cannot continue in us or else we will not be able to enter heaven as in the Old Testament days. When Jesus died for us, by His once sacrifice we have all been perfected forever as we are being sanctified as long as we are present here on earth (Heb 10:14). As we are made new creatures on the inside of us the moment Jesus saved us, we have been made worthy in the Lord to go to heaven (2 Cor 5:21). Till we die we will have sin nature within us, the denial of it is a sign of living in deception and also will be a lie against God (1 John 1:8, 10). Jesus on the day of rapture will ultimately “rescue [us] from this body of death [by giving all of us a new sinless immortal body]. Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!" (Romans 7:24-25).

Just follow closely the following passages of Scriptures,
"4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin." (Romans 6:4-7). Our old fleshly soulish man has died according to God and have been buried in Christ, as a result of it we now have the ability to live an overcoming life over flesh by faith, but as we see in the above verse 6, "our body of sin will be done away" naturally when we die physically. So we will not carry our sin nature to heaven after our death. But our soul will be controlled by our new natured spirit man which is under the perfect control of the Holy Spirit once we die, and we will ever be with the Lord through His Presence living in us perfectly (Php 1:23). At the end of our faith life on earth, we receive the salvation of our souls as we will be freed from the tyranny of our sin nature forever and ever (1 Peter 1:9). A new glorious immortal body in which we will live forever is already prepared for us in heaven in which we will rise up on the day of rapture (2 Cor 5:1). The new body will be a sin free meta physical spiritual body (1 Corinthians 15:42-45), this body will be raised from the earth through the power of God and will become imperishable forever (1 Thess 4:14-18).

So the bottom line is that once we die, the new nature completely takes control of our soul and therefore we cannot sin and will have no such desire after we enter heaven any more. The death to self and sin is a battle the Lord has given us to wage only until we die, so that we can choose to live in the perfect will for the glory of God and also for a great reward for us in the days to come
(Eph 4:21-24; Rom 12:1-2).

Much Blessings....
